Created for the hugely popular Microsoft Surface family of devices, the new Microsoft Surface Ergonomic Keyboard is in a league of its own. The latest successor to its three-year-old Sculpt Keyboard model, the new ergonomic keyboard has been upgraded with a bevy of tech savvy features.

The keyboard comes with a special double-cushioned palm rest which uses an ultra-durable version of Alcantara. Alcantara is the unique, proprietary material sourced only in Italy with aesthetic, sensory and technical qualities unlike anything anyone has ever experienced.

The keyboard geometry has been updated to further protect your hands and wrists. A split spacebar key and naturally arched shape will protect you from hand and wrist strain and improve typing form to speed up your words per minute.

The key sound, stiffness and texture provide a stable and quiet typing experience with an advanced grip. Optimized feedback and return force prevents accidental presses and allows for smooth, consistent action.

The last and most important change is the way the keyboard now connects. The older versions required using a USB port and plugging in a dongle but the Surface Ergonomic Keyboard now uses Bluetooth Low Energy to connect, making it compatible with the Surface Pro 4, Surface Book and Surface Studio line of products.
