Husband and wife home design duo Cortney and Robert Novogratz are launching a new home décor collection with e-commerce website Evine. The co-hosts of HGTV’s Home by Novogratz are known for their pop-art infused aesthetic, often decorating with retro-inspired details offset with clean lines and bold color palettes. Their highly-anticipated collection for Evine will include 14 retro-inspired décor and furniture pieces.

Cortney tells US Weekly that the collection was not only inspired by her own eclectic decorating style, but also by functionality and her family. The mother of seven tells the magazine that she and Robert consult their children prior to making any decisions about their home, saying “…anything we create or want, we run by our kids.”

Taking function and durability into account is a key theme that runs throughout the collection, with stain-resistant and durable fabrics used to withstand rowdy boys or to accommodate frequent house guests. Another example: the collection features a charcoal mid-century modern sofa composed of a linen-based fabric “that you can easily wipe down.” The matching storage ottoman also reflects the commitment to style and versatility in its sleek design that conceals an ample amount of storage space inside.

However, while function and durability may have been the top priorities informing the collection, the couple’s signature funky style is not sacrificed. The collection will include seven different wall art pieces and a variety of brightly-colored door mats that are imbued with their signature bold color palettes to brighten any home. The full collection will launch on Evine.com on April 11th.
