Amazon is kicking off a whole new endeavor and delivering the NFL straight to your door. For the first time ever, the online giant is broadcasting 11 Thursday Night Football (TNF) games this season, streaming them live on Prime Video.
The games will be available to watch for free to all Amazon Prime members (get your 30-day free trial here), starting with the Chicago Bears vs. the Green Bay Packers on September 28. The coverage will include a pregame show, a halftime show, and post-game reaction.
An annual Amazon Prime membership is just $99, and the new NFL deal adds even more incentive to sign up. You already know about Amazon Prime’s free two-day shipping and access to free music, shows, movies, podcasts and e-books. Now, every Thursday, members can get free anywhere access to football as well.
To watch: log into your Amazon account and click on the icon for livestreaming TNF. The livestream will work on your desktop computer through the Amazon website. You can also download the Prime Video app and stream the game through your Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and hundreds of phones, tablets, OTT devices and gaming consoles. (Get a 30-day free trial to Prime Video here).
Prime members also have a unique, one-stop-shop through Amazon: order food and beer from Prime Now, order team gear from the Fan Shop, play NFL trivia (hosted by Marshawn Lynch) through Alexa, and of course, come game time, livestream the game from anywhere.
Thinking of getting a TV or speaker system for the new season? Amazon Home Services is now offering affordable deals for TV/Home Theater installation too. Have their team of experts come in and set everything up for you, so you can sit back and enjoy the big game.
