Individually-crafted from aluminum and stainless steel, this limited-edition statue mixes natural beauty with sculptural handmade detail — the hallmarks of accessories designer Michael Aram.

By employing traditional techniques, Aram’s sculpture captures life-like details. His artisanal style imbues quiet energy through the tension and weaving of line, form and meaning that can be seen in all his designs. Seemingly everyday objects become symbols of ritual and ceremony, due largely to Aram’s soulful perspective.

Measuring 11.5″ x 22.5″ x 8,” the Conch Shell Sculpture is an elegant statement piece for your home decor. Limited to just 500 pieces, it adds a unique touch to your decorating theme, whether it rests atop your mantle or is casually set upon an end table.

Born in the United States, Aram studied fine art and was active in the New York art scene during the 1980s. While on a trip to India, he discovered the rich history of metalworking. It changed his work — and his life — forever. Inspired by the untapped skill of Indian metalworkers, Aram changed his focus to craft-based design, relocating to New Delhi to work and live.
