* A refreshing and unique take on a summer classic for fall
* Add Alizé Passion to your sangria recipe for a sweet twist
* Ideal for tailgating, housewarmings and parties
With fall officially upon us, it’s time to send another summer off in style. While sangria may be thought of as a traditionally summery drink, we’ve got a new take that will make it seasonal appropriate for fall. The trick: a splash of Alizé Passion.
Made by infusing premium French vodka with passion fruit nectar, Alizé’s line-up of distinct flavors are an easy choice because they can be savored on the rocks or in an endless number of colorful cocktails. (Try serving it with sparkling water too, if you find it a little sweet at first). We’ve found multiple uses for the premium liqueur.
As for fall, we’ll be trying these three sangria recipes that will make hosting a breeze—leaving more time to soak up every last drop of sunshine and less time fussing around the kitchen.
1. Turn Up for End of Summer Sangria
1 bottle Alizé Red Passion
2 bottles Red wine
1 bottle Orange juice (25 oz.)
Combine all ingredients in a large container or punch bowl. Serve in a wine glass over ice. Garnish with orange, lemon and lime slices in container.
2. Gold Fire Passion Sangria
1 part Alizé Gold Passion
1 part White wine
1 part 7Up
Slices of fresh peaches
Mix equal parts of Alizé Gold Passion & white wine in a pitcher. Let slices of peaches soak in Alizé Gold Passion & white wine mixture. Chill. Just before serving add 1 part 7UP. Serve in a wine glass. Garnish with a peach or orange.
3. Alizé Singles Sangria (basically a sangria recipe for one… because it’s okay to drink alone).
2 oz. Alizé Red Passion
1 oz. Red wine
½ oz. Simple syrup
1 oz. Apple juice
1 oz. 7Up float
1 Orange slice, muddled
1 Marashino cherry
Combine ingredients in a pitcher or large container. Serve in a wine glass over ice with a topper of 7UP and garnish. (This sangria set from Libbey, below, includes a 76 oz. pitcher plus six glasses for under 20 bucks).[caption id="attachment_75175" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Image courtesy of Amazon[/caption]
