Martha Stewart’s subscription service endeavors are expanding, just in time for summer entertaining. Last month, she launched a new prepared meal service offering fresh, prepared meals delivered via Amazon Fresh in a partnership with Marley Spoon. Now, her ever-expanding empire includes a wine company, complete with an optional Wine of the Month club, courtesy of her e-commerce company, Martha Stewart Wine Co.

Stewart will also offer a la carte bottles on her store, with a variety of fine wines hand-selected by the celebrity chef and her panel of wine experts. According to the Martha Stewart blog, her new wine company is suitable for both wine aficionados and beginner wine tasters. In a blog post, she promises to help wine newbies “learn all the nuances of wine so you can enjoy every glass.”

In a press release, Stewart said, “I am excited to bring my passion for wine to wine lovers across the nation with Martha Stewart Wine Co. Wine has played an important role in that part of my life focused on entertaining and teaching others how to entertain. With the launch of this fabulous online wine shop, I am confident that we can teach consumers how to pour the right wine, and enjoy the right wine, at every occasion.”

Stewart also offers a personalized touch to the new wine company, with a category consisting of her favorite go-to wines called “Martha’s Favorites,” featuring a selection that she reaches for again and again when entertaining family and friends. In case you’re curious, some of her favorites include: 2013 Sierra Trails Old Vine Zinfandel from California and 2016 Villa Ruby Rosé from Méditerranée IGP from France.

Each monthly wine box will include carefully curated bottles of wine from some of the best vineyards from around the world, including Central California, Tuscany and Bordeaux. Each batch of wine will be tasted and approved by Stewart herself for quality, flavor and ability to pair with meals. She will also have the help of some of world’s best wine connoisseurs including Chris Hoel and Stewart’s own in-house wine maker. While some of her higher-end wine offerings go up to about $60, most wines are priced rather affordably, ranging from $12-$15 per bottle, proving that wine doesn’t always have to be expensive to taste expensive.
