* Vintage Louis Vuitton carryall bag
* Iconic logo print re-worked with Sprouse’s signature graffiti
* Coated canvas material with leather handles and trim
Halfway into your career you begin to realize a few things. For starters: that 40-hour work week you signed up for no longer exists, replaced by late nights at the office followed by even later hours for client dinners and drinks. Another thing you realize: it isn’t always about the output or the number of hours you deliver. Instead, success in the workforce is most often exhibited by those who value quality and focus on the finer details, rather than trying to do – and be – everything at once.
This is the bag for people who appreciate quality and fine taste. An ultra rare piece from the storied Louis Vuitton fashion house, this coated-canvas carryball bag is printed with the house’s iconic logo, along with monogram graffiti by the late artist, Stephen Sprouse.
Known for his pop-punk sensibilities and Day Glo-paint stenciling, Sprouse was a key figure in the 80s and 90s art movements of New York. Long before Louis Vuitton collaborated with Supreme, Stephen Sprouse was tapped by then-Louis Vuitton head designer, Marc Jacobs, to add his bright, street art-inspired lettering to a line of LV bags and accessories in 2001. The collaboration proved so successful that Jacobs used Sprouse’s work again in 2009.
This bag is from the original collection; previously-owned but in pristine condition. A double zip secures the top, and the lined interior is equipped with a key ring and handy hideaway pocket. Rich leather trim and sturdy leather handles finish the classic piece. A dust bag is included to help keep the bag fresh even when stored away.
Made in France and weighing a sturdy 1.08 kg, this is a true collector’s piece that is made to last for years to come. Designed for the modern day gentleman, use it for your work trips or weekend getaways with your partner. Or really go all out and use this as your new gym bag. Quality – and enviable stares – guaranteed.
