If you’re looking to score some of the year’s most viral fashion trends but don’t want to drop a month’s worth of rent, you’re in luck. Take our quiz to see if you guess which item is designer and which one is a look-alike. If you can’t tell, neither will we. Take the quiz and shop the links below, whether you want the real thing — or the less pricey alternative.

1. Gucci Princetown Loafer Slides

It’s been one of the most coveted shoes for a few seasons now, and this look shows no sign of slowing down. Steve Madden offers a synthetic version, but it’s less than 1/10 the price of the Gucci.

2. Saint Laurent Leather Jacket

You can’t go wrong with a leather jacket and this one from Saint Laurent is sure to be a staple in your rotation for years to come. It’s also $5400. The H&M version is also made from real leather, and will run you just $400 — a little pricey for H&M but a steal compared to Saint Laurent.

3. Gucci Retro Aviator Frames

The aviator sunglasses have seen a big comeback, thanks to the explosion of 80s nostalgia (Miami Vice style, anyone?) and the fact that this silhouette works on virtually any face shape. Prive Revaux shades come in at under 30 bucks and are equally celeb-worthy as the Gucci. In fact, everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Katie Holmes has been spotted out and about rocking Prive Revaux this year.

4. Gucci Dionysus Bag

Every woman needs an IT bag in her closet and if you’re going to spring for one, this Gucci isn’t a bad one to get. It also comes in black if you’re looking for something a little less conspicuous. But if you don’t want to blow your budget on a bag, opt for the dupe. It’s made from vegan leather, available in three colors and on sale for just $50.

5. Stuart Weitzman Over The Knee Boots

A fall and winter staple, more and more companies are making these over the knee boots. But Stuart Weitzman did them first — and arguably, did them the best. The thing is… the dupe version is a whopping $750 cheaper. If you can’t tell the difference, neither can anyone else.

6. Yeezy Boost Moonrock

We would say “get the Yeezy’s” but they’re almost impossible to find now, unless you’re willing to shill out big bucks on eBay or re-sale sites. The Tubular Shadow from Adidas is not only a great way to get the style, they’re also a great shoe on their own merits too.

7. Chanel Two Tone Slingback Pumps

These Chanel pumps are a classic, but the dupes aren’t half bad either. They’re also made from real leather and suede, and, with a padded insole, leather lining and sturdy footbed, they might be more comfortable too.

8. Common Projects Chelsea Boots

There isn’t a whole lot that’s different between the Common Projects boots and the dupe — except the price. Considering your pants will be covering most of the shoe, you may as well just get the cheaper version.
