The always highly anticipated Fall H&M Collection and campaign have just dropped and you won’t be disappointed.
Iconic supermodel Naomi Campbell stars in the fall campaign film which was shot in the heart of Tokyo’s nightlife district. The film follows Campbell taking us through the streets in Tokyo, her hair shorn into a fresh pixie cut, wearing a fierce black double-breasted suit from the collection all while lip-syncing to a song by Wham!
The campaign also celebrates a more diverse industry by including models of different backgrounds and ages which is a move H&M has been making to promote diversity in its fashion presentations. Some standouts of the collection are listed below but don’t wait too long — as usual with H&M, they are already selling out of pieces from this versatile line.
1. Beaded Top
This short-sleeve cotton top is a solid layering piece for Fall. With its beaded motif at the front, it can easily go from day night too with a few simple switches. Pair with a houndstooth blazer and black pants for the menswear chic vibe that we saw all over the runways.
2. Silver-Colored Pants
These slim fit pants in a comfortable stretch fabric will make a statement with their unique silver color. Also available in a black patent color, these pants were made to be the focal point of any outfit so accessorize accordingly.
3. Knit Sweater
Another great piece in this collection is this soft black sweater. The addition of the faux fur section, long sleeves and ribbing at the cuffs and the hem give this sweater structure while the fur detailing adds a luxe feel. It elevates the simple black sweater into a statement piece.
4. Double Breasted Jacket
Blazers have been seen in almost all of the fall 2017 collections and every designer has their unique take. H&M’s offering is a fitted, double-breasted blazer in a thick woven fabric that will fit in perfectly with any wardrobe. The longer style with notched lapels, chest pocket and welt front pockets with flaps are all details that make this blazer look more expensive than it is.
5. Sequined Velour Dress
Our last pick is this Sequined Velour Dress. A gently fitted dress in velour with sequined embroidery, this dress has a slightly 80s vibe with its shoulder pads and above the knee length. A top pick for the upcoming holiday season, this dress will have you feeling like the belle of the ball.
