Sure, a smartwatch can help you track steps at the gym, but it won’t help you in the boardroom or at the bar. A rubber strap and constantly flashing digital screen doesn’t exactly scream “hire me” or “date me.” If you’ve been permanently wearing your smartwatch around your wrist, it’s time to step up your game.
The good news: luxury is no longer synonymous with expensive. If you’re looking to upgrade your watch collection, we’d suggest starting with Vincero.
Vincero (Italian for “I will win”) is a new age luxury watch company started by three friends who booked one-way tickets to China after college and made a pact to not return to the U.S. until they had mastered manufacturing. After four years working for other fashion and accessories brands, in 2014, Vincero was born.
The goal, they decided, was to create a new brand that promoted high-end materials and solid design principles, without gouging the customer on high prices. To wit: every piece is made in house, every unit, by hand. The company puts meticulous care into the process and quality control, checking every unit before it ships out to customers. And, by selling exclusively online, they’re able to keep prices reasonable, making luxury quality watches attainable for everyone.
The Kairos Collection for men, features ten watches starting at just $139. Details include surgical grade stainless steel construction, top-grain Italian leather strap and a sapphire crystal dial. Don’t be afraid to wear these watches throughout all your daily activities – the dials are all scratch-resistant, and they’re water resistant up to 10 ATM.
Vincero offers four other collections for men, including a marble collection of handsome timepieces handcrafted with premium Italian marble. The men’s watches top out at $299, with a limited-edition collection featuring Vincero’s first ever automatic movement. Each timepiece is individually numbered.
For women, we like the rose gold watches, like this Kleio Mesh model (seen below). With a slightly slimmer and chicer design than the men’s watches, the “Vincera” women’s collection features stainless steel construction, and a sapphire-coated mineral crystal dial. The women’s timepieces range from $119 to $139.
While only one of their watch lines includes marble in the face, most of the Vincero watches still include an Italian marble disc on the back, along with the phrases “Veni, Vidi, Vici” (a quote made famous by Julius Caesar that translates to “I came, I saw, I conquered) and “Live your legacy.” Just like the great artists who carved impressive structures out of marble, the guys behind Vincero hope their watches will inspire you to build your own legacy.
We’re obsessed with Vincero Watches because they’re distinct enough from other brands out there, while maintaining an easy-to-wear charm and functionality. They’re also sophisticated enough to wear to work, but not so stuffy that you can’t wear it to a sporting event or weekend errands.
