* 90th annual Academy Awards airs this weekend
* All Oscar nominees receive gift bags filled with specially-selected products
* Gift bags aren’t sanctioned by the Academy, but have been a tradition nonetheless
There can only be one winner on Oscar night but no one goes home a loser.
While only one person will take home a trophy, all the Oscar nominees get to take home a deluxe gift bag, worth at least $100,000. The tradition of gifting lounges and “swag bags” has been around for years, and while it’s not sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, it’s still seen as a memorable part of awards season.
LA-based company, Distinctive Assets, has been assembling the gift bags for 16 years, and each bag is hand-delivered to the Oscar nominee’s home, hotel or office. While the company won’t reveal exactly how much this year’s bag is worth, they do reveal that it’s over six figures.
We’ve uncovered a few of the items included in this year’s bag — and while we can’t gift it to you for free, we can show you how to get the products delivered for yourself. Here are seven of the best products we found.
