We are always on the search for cocktails that blend high-quality spirits with healthy elixirs and juices because it’s all about balance, right? We have tapped the creators of a ridiculously tasty and health-infused juice to help craft your own cocktails—and mocktails—at home. POM Wonderful Juice is made from 100% pomegranates from California and has some serious benefits like antioxidants to help fight the aging process and eliminate free radicals. Pomegranates are also rich in potassium, an electrolyte that helps us maintain healthy muscle functions. So, we can feel a lot better when indulging in these handcrafted cocktails made with a variety of pomegranate juices, including honey green tea and peach passion tea, blended with our fav spirits or substituted with sweeteners and sparkling water for a delicious mocktail. From proper party hosting hacks to alcohol-free refreshments for non-drinkers, we have added these three drinks to our roster of party tricks that will both whet the palate and impress your friends.
1. POM Gimlet
The classic gimlet gets a pomegranate twist, making it a healthier option than the simple lime and gin-infused drink.
2-1/2 ounces of Pom Wonderful Juice
1-1/2 ounces of gin
1/4 ounces of sweetened lime juice
1/4 ounces of agave syrup
For a mocktail, skip the gin and add your favorite flavored seltzer water or soda water.
2. Gentlemen’s Club
This sophisticated drink is a straight-forward concoction of POM’s honey green tea and fresh orange juice for a summer or spring cocktail that delivers a punch of healthy juice.
3 ounces of POM Pomegranate Honey Green Tea
1 1/2 ounces of your select gin
1 ounce of fresh orange juice
Garnish with 1 orange slice
For a mocktail, substitute rum for sorghum, a syrupy sweetener that adds a candied richness to the drink.
3. Desert Highball
Highball’s are an easy-to-mix beverage typically containing liquor and a carbonated mixer, but this pomegranate-infused version adds in a splash of juice and French wine for a tasty upgrade.
4 ounces of POM Peach Passion White Tea
1 ounce of POM Pomegranate Juice
2 ounces of French aperitif wine
Garnish with an orange peel
For a mocktail, add in extra pomegranate juice and a splash of ginger ale.
