* Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow which means spring is coming
* But pundits say he’s been wrong before
* Three gadgets to keep you warm in case winter is sticking around

Today marks the 132nd Groundhog Day, a holiday during which the world’s most famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, predicts the upcoming seasonal forecast for the nation. Tradition holds that if Phil sees his shadow, he will return to his burrow and six weeks of winter weather will follow. If he doesn’t see the shadow, spring weather will begin.

But while Phil predicted an early spring this year, don’t get too excited. Experts say that Phil is usually wrong – which means the country could be bracing itself for even more of this Polar Vortex, rather than waking up to warmth.

Even though Phil has ended his hibernation, we’ve crafted a list of three useful gadgets to help you stay snug and warm in case we have six more weeks of winter weather.

1. OCOOPA Hand Warmer/Portable Power Bank

This little powerhouse has three heating levels that work on both sides of the device to defrost your fingers in just three seconds. What’s even better is that it doubles as a portable charging bank so you can recharge your phone while you warm up. With up to eight hours of use from one charge, you may never go back to disposable warmers. Pro tip: use it like a hot stone to massage out sore muscles after a long day of snow sports.

2. PEET Shoe and Boot Dryer

Wet, cold shoes are the worst, especially in winter. This multifunctional, silent-operating device will not only give you toasty boots to slip into a frigid morning, but it will also deodorize your footwear and prolong their wear cycles by eliminating bacteria and moisture that can cause damage. Customers also recommend using the dryer to warm gloves and hats before braving the winter cold.

3. Rotibox Bluetooth Beanie Hat

Love to listen to your music on the go but hate the way your beanie tugs on your headphones? This rechargeable, washable Bluetooth speaker beanie keeps your head cozy and your tunes playing for up to six hours. Side buttons and a built-in microphone also make it easy to take phone calls, change the volume, or skip tracks without having to use your phone.
