The Nokia 3310 Revival Is Smaller, Lighter and Coming This Month

* The redesigned classic will drop on May 24
* Updated with a better screen and four great colors
* Only available in Europe for now

Billed as a “modern classic re imagined,” the Nokia 3310 will drop in the United Kingdom on May 24, reports Tech Radar. It will be available in Germany on May 26, with subsequent release dates for Belgium and the Netherlands slated for June 5. The throwback phone will retail for around $65.

Users of the new Nokia 3310 will enjoy improved readbility in the sunlight thanks to a 2.4” polarized and curved screen window. The iconic design remains intact, and subtle updates bring the formerly ubiquitous phone into 2017.

Other upgrades include a 2-megapixel rear camera, 16 MB storage, a MicroSD card slot with support up to 32 GB, and LED flash. It will be available in four colors: red and yellow (in a glossy finish) and blue and gray (in a matte finish).

Anyone who remembers the original can recall how great the battery was, and the resurrected design doesn’t disappoint. The long-lasting battery can stay on standby for up to a month and is efficient enough to handle a full day of talk time without requiring a charge. By the way, charging the Nokia 3310 is easier than ever thanks to a micro-USB port.

Not to be forgotten is Nokia’s classic game: Snake. It’s back too. No date has been set for an American release, but we’ll keep you posted.
