Sleep Number’s upcoming smart beds could potentially save your life. It’s something you wouldn’t expect a mattress to do, but Sleep Number has been perfecting its mattresses for years now to show us how sleep tracking is done right. For CES 2022, the company announced its new 360 smart bed offers even more automation to not only adapt to your preferences, but also a new piece of smart furniture that offers modular attachment to complement its beds.

The company’s new 360 smart beds will feature multi-sensor technology for proactive health care by tracking unusual health events it detects while you’re sleeping. Its adjustable bed frame will now be able to tilt in even more directions than before. You’ve seen how snorers can be put to ease in some of those commercials by tilting the front of the bed, but now the entire bed frame will have the ability to tilt to a slope to provide better blood breathing and blood flow circulation. On top of that, it can rise or lower as well — helping those with mobility issues to get in and out of bed easier.

Data is integral to the Sleep Number experience, so it should come as no surprise that this new Sleep Number 360 smart bed will track more health vitals as you sleep. Its existing line of smart beds already tracks biometrics such as your heart rate, heart rate variability, and breath rate, but the new 360 smart bed will be able to monitor and detect nighttime events — like insomnia, sleep apnea, temperature monitoring, and more. Like we said, it could potentially save your life.

New to its portfolio is Sleep Number’s new smart furniture, which appears to be a headboard with modular components. For example, there’s a component that features Bluetooth speakers that not only help you sleep to soothing sounds, but can also reduce noise from the surrounding environment. Furthermore, there are add-on components that add lighting to match your circadian rhythm, integrated charging solutions for your devices, and an optional side table attachment.

Sleep Number wants to protect you through all of life’s changes with its new lineup. It’s all still in the early stages, but the smart furniture won’t become available until 2023 with pricing to follow. However, its new 360 smart bed will start at $1,099 and become available some time this year.

Can’t wait that long? Then check out the Sleep Number 360 i8 smart bed, which is available right now and offers all the comforts and conveniences to help you get a good night’s sleep. In addition to customizing the firmness of this bed, it’ll automatically adjust itself throughout the night to match your sleeping position.
