How To Order Domino’s With a Smart Speaker

Domino’s has an Alexa skill that allows you to order a hot and ready pizza pie to our door, just by asking.

The Domino’s skill allows Alexa users to order favorites and past orders and choose from a menu of the most popular items from Domino’s.

  • First, create an account with Domino’s, so start by visiting Dominos’s website to set one up. Keep your email address and password handy.
  • Next, search the Alexa Skills tab on your Alexa app for Domino’s.
  • Click Enable.
  • Finally, log into your Domino’s account to link it with this Alexa skill.

When you’ve got it linked, you can now say things like, “Alexa, open Domino’s,” and “Alexa, ask Domino’s to place an order,” and even “Alexa, ask Domino’s to reorder.”

Can I Order Papa John’s or Pizza Hut with an Echo Device?

Both Pizza Hut and Papa John’s had Alexa Skills at one time, which goes back to about 2016. Sadly both have discontinued these Alexa Skills, but no information has been provided about why. Perhaps these were just skills that humans in 2016 weren’t ready for and thus didn’t embrace enough to make it worthwhile. Who knows, as this type of interaction with companies gains awareness and popularity, these skills might come back, with even more to follow.
