Here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come for late summer, fall and even next year in entertainment.

Marjorie Prime (August 18th)

Jon Hamm of Baby Driver and the hit series Mad Men stars in the film adaptation of the Pulitzer-winning play by the same name. The film is set in the near future, where AI technology is fully integrated into every facet of society. Majorie (Lois Smith) spends her final days with a hologram of her late husband (Hamm).


It (September 8th)

Based on Stephen King’s 1986 novel, It follows four young boys in Maine who must confront the evil, shape-shifting clown Pennywise. Directed by Andrés Muschietti, it stars Bill Skarsgård and Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things. 


Brad’s Status (September 15th)

Ben Stiller, Michael Sheen and Jenna Fischer star in Mike White’s new comedy about a father who becomes obsessed with his former classmate’s successes after taking his college-bound son to tour prospective universities.


Blade Runner 2049 (October 6th)

The second trailer of the highly anticipated Blade Runner 2049 gives a further glimpse at the upcoming sci-fi release. Starring Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford and Jared Leto, the sequel to the 1982 film will hit theaters on October 6th. Be sure to re-watch the original before the sequel drops.


Suburbicon (October 27)

Written and directed by George Clooney, Suburbicon is a drama set in a picturesque community in the late 1950s. It depicts the dark underside of white-picket-fence suburban America. Starring Matt Damon, Julianne Moore and Oscar Isaac, the film will premiere at the Venice and Toronto film festivals and hit theaters on October 27th.


LBJ (November 3rd)

Director Rob Weiner’s political biopic of 36th president of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson, will follow the leader’s sudden shift to power following the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The film stars Woody Harrelson as LBJ, Jeffrey Donovan as JFK and Jennifer Jason Leigh as first lady Bird Johnson.


Thor: Ragnorok (November, 3rd)

Marvel released the official trailer for the next Thor installment at Comic Con 2017. Liam Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins will return as Thor, Loki and Odin respectively. Additions to the cast include Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk.


Westworld: Season 2 (Early 2018)

HBO’s sci-fi/western series Westworld dropped a sneak peek of the highly anticipated second season at Comic Con 2017. The show had the most watched first season ever in HBO history, but eager fans will have to wait until 2018 for the season premiere. Find out how to watch on HBO Now.
