Those very encounters would eventually lead to McGowan accusing Weinstein of sexual assault. McGowan details the events leading up to, during and following the incident which has drawn so much public interest. The actress also provides an insight into exactly how she felt and acted during those understandably tough periods.

Brave goes on to explain the importance of initiatives like the #MeToo movement, and the major role the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) must play in protecting women and children from sexual assault and the other horrendous experiences McGowan endured at the hands of the “Hollywood Machine.”
