* Interview with Crazy Rich Asians starlet
* How to get this Stranger Things star’s Emmy hair
* The best seasons of American Horror Story, ranked

Awards season is officially here, having kicked off with the Emmy Awards this past week. Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, led the pack with five trophies, while HBO’s Game of Thrones took home “Best Drama” against very strong competition from the likes of The Americans and This Is Us.

But it wasn’t just the shows making news – Stranger Things’ star Joe Keery (who walked the red carpet with girlfriend Maika Monroe) was trending all night thanks to his mullet-inspired hairdo. Luckily for us – and you – we tracked down Keery’s hairstylist, who is dishing on just how we can re-create that look at home.

There were a lot of other things happening this week too. Here’s what was making headlines – and what you need to know.

1. Here’s Who Took Home a Trophy at The Emmys (And How to Stream The Winning Shows Online)

TV’s biggest night lived up to its title Monday, as the 2018 Emmy Awards were handed out in Los Angeles. Amazon’s critically-acclaimed series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, took home five trophies, including a “Best Comedy Series” win, while HBO’s Game of Thrones took home “Best Drama” against very stiff competition.

In another surprise win, Regina King beat out Sarah Paulson (from American Horror Story), Laura Dern, Jessica Biel and Edie Falco to score an upset victory for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, while RuPaul beat out perennial faves like The Voice and Project Runway to take home the Emmy for Best Reality Competition.

2. Joe Keery’s Hairstylist Tells Us How To Get His “Modern Mullet” From The Emmys

Well that didn’t take long. Mere minutes after stepping foot on the 2018 Emmy Awards red carpet Monday, actor Joe Keery was trending all over social media thanks to his can’t miss mullet. They say the red carpet is all about the fashion, but in this case, the Stranger Things actor was making waves with his mane… literally.

The inspiration for this “modern mullet” came courtesy of Keery’s hairstylist, Matthew Collins, who had to come up with a quick way to work with the actor’s epic 80s hair, which he’s kept in the retro style for his role as Steve Harrington on the breakout Netflix hit. Loving Keery’s mullet-inspired ‘do? Here’s how Collins did it.

3. This Crazy Rich Asians Star On What Asian-Led Film She’s Watching Next

Crazy Rich Asians has become one of this year’s biggest box office hits, and what started as a small film hoping to promote more diversity in Hollywood has become a certified worldwide smash. Less than two months after its release, the film has grossed almost $200 million in theaters, and holds an astounding 93% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Actress and model Victoria Loke plays Fiona Tung-Cheng, a beautiful woman married to Nick’s cousin – and by extension, married into his wealthy family. We caught up with Loke to find out more about how she got cast in the film (it was her first audition!), the reaction she’s received from fans, and why she’s eager for people to support three other Asian-driven projects that are out now.
