It’s the most powerful console ever to hit the marketplace. Even before its release, it already has more titles in native 4K than any other system, including Sony’s PlayStation Pro 4. At first glance, the Xbox One X looks suspiciously similar to the One S, except for one minor difference: The One X is much, much heavier. A quick glance under the hood and it’s easy to see why. With an 8-core CPU running at 2.3GHz, a 1 terabyte hard drive, 2GB of GDDR5 RAM and a powerful AMD Polaris GPU, it certainly lives up to the title of being the most powerful console ever made. Perhaps more surprisingly, it’s also one of the smallest.
But don’t let the smaller size fool you — the Xbox One X comes with a ton of additional features. With 2 HDMI ports, 3 USB ports, an ethernet port and a slot-loading 4K drive, this console makes an amazing first impression.
Microsoft has already announced 70 Xbox One X games that will be available within the first week of launch, which means gamers eager to sink their teeth into the new 4K technology will have plenty of immediate options to choose from. (Hear that, Nintendo?) And while every Xbox One exclusive title is also available on the PC, the One X is the first home console in history that’s able to replicate the same level of quality.
