Many retailers are addressing this situation by offering the same Black Friday discounts online as in stores, and most retailers have begun their Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals early this year. (For instance, Walmart and Amazon are already offering huge discounts to encourage early shopping.) At the very least, almost every popular retailer is offering additional savings throughout the month of November. This means that it’s possible to start enjoying your yearly shopping spree far earlier than in the past.

While Amazon has yet to announce any Black Friday deals for 2020 (bookmark this link for the most up-to-date info), they did start their new Holiday Dash deals event on October 16th. Every day Amazon will drop new “Black Friday-worth deals” to help you get a head start on your Christmas shopping. Throughout the next few weeks, the online retailer will feature over one million deals worldwide on the most giftable categories. And, because of the extended return times currently on offer on Amazon, most items ordered between now and the end of the year can be returned up to January 31, 2020. Early Walmart Black Friday Deals
Walmart likely has the most comprehensive early deals we’ve seen, and we have an entire shopping guide for Walmart Black Friday Deals. Rather than hosting one blow-out event on November 26 this year, the retailer has chosen to break down the event into three sales called “Black Friday Deals for Days.”
The first began on November 4 with extra deals dropping at midnight on November 7 online and at 5 a.m. in store. The second sale will begin on November 11, with additional deals dropping in a similar manner on November 14. And, the third and final event takes place on Black Friday, with deals starting from 7 p.m. on November 25. Bigger deals will start at midnight on November 26 and 5 a.m. in stores. Traditionally one of the most coveted Black Friday destinations, Best Buy has made strides to take their famous event online this year. The electronics retailer has already started their Black Friday extravaganza with a series of mini sales. According to BestBuy.com, the schedule of these sales is:

Earlier this month, JCPenny dropped its significant Black Friday catalog. And, while it’s smaller than in years past, it does include 24 pages of deals as well as a 30% off coupon that’s valid in stores and online. The sale runs from November 25 to November 28, meaning there aren’t any substantial savings to be had at JCPenny before Black Friday itself. However, we have seen JCPenny running Black Friday-esque sales on the weekends, although this hasn’t been widely publicized.
