Clark Kent, but make it fashion.*
Today, Warby Parker announced its newest collaboration with singer Pharrell Williams’ non-profit organization i am OTHER by releasing a fashionably nerdy new style of glasses we’re kind of loving. Boasting proud, thick black frames with a Canary yellow nose-bridge detail, these eyeglasses are meant to reclaim taped-up, broken glasses to bring a bigger, brighter meaning to the style. We might even go as far as to say that these might be some of the best eyeglasses of 2021.

Each pair is meant to present a look that defies expectations. It’s meant to showcase people always told they were less than by confronting undermining voices through the act of forward-thinking and innovation. The glasses are made for creators that told they weren’t creative, for all-stars told they were never good enough, for folk looking to reclaim their hardships and wear them with pride.
i am OTHER is a non-profit that supports new innovators, groundbreakers, and outliers, otherwise known as “the others” in life. The organization’s main focus is to inaugurate the next generation of our world’s visionaries that haven’t been seen or heard from yet.

The bullied, the belittled, the underestimated. The phoenixes rising from the ashes. The ones pushed down that get up again and again no matter the circumstances.
In honor of the collab, Warby Parker even decided to make a donation to another non-profit by Pharrell Williams’ called YELLOW. This organization’s main goal works to even the odds for all youth around the world through the means of education — something every child on this planet should be promised.
The collection is live right now and we’re sure this is something you can’t miss out on. Rep your inner visionary right now for just $95.
