It isn’t hard to rock a cool-guy surfer look these days. You need a surfboard, a wide-brimmed hat for sun protection, a rash guard and maybe a surf poncho or two for a post-wave change in the parking lot. Classic. You could go with a regular ol’ pair of swim trunks, or you could step it up a notch this surf season. These Todd Snyder x Birdwell surf trunks caught our eye whilst browsing a few weeks back, and we couldn’t help but make sure you saw them as well. They’re a stylish twist on the OG surf trunks, and we think they’re a must-have.
Todd Snyder x Birdwell 310 Stone Washed Board Short
The shorts have gotten a modern refresh via sun-faded colors courtesy of T.S and an on-trend length that hits right at the mid-thigh. They’re cut from Birdwell’s signature SurfNyl™️ fabric made for hitting the waves, and they’ve got a tab closure with an adjustable fit as well.
They’re got a triple-lace closure, nickel-plated grommets and a nylon drawcord that fastens you in, so you won’t be losing your shorts even with a gnarly wipeout. They’ve also got a surf wax pocket on the back, a key loop and an interior drain hole as well. They’re made to have a broken-in feel right from the start, and the seams are double and triple-stitched for durability. They also come in five different colors, including paprika, yellow, aqua, camo and navy.
