If you’re looking for some bling that will make you feel like a king (or a queen), look no further than the Diamond Crown Ring from Armenta’s Old World Collection.
Crafted from 18k yellow gold with round white diamonds set in midnight sterling silver, this ring combines Spanish romance and a rock n’ roll spirit for style that’s regal and edgy at the same time.
Texas native Emily Armenta launched her eponymous line of handcrafted jewelry while completing her MBA at Rice University. Having come from a family of artists, an assignment to create a business plan for a fictitious jewelry company was her first step toward launching the brand, which is now a favorite among Hollywood A-listers.
Drawing much of her inspiration from Spanish art, architecture and literature, Armenta specifically related to the 20th Century poet Federico García Lorca and his concept of duende, which is defined as “a power and not a behavior; it is the struggle that one must endure to create something of greatness.”
Armenta sources materials from socially responsible vendors around the world. Their partners maintain strong ties to local communities, allowing vendors to open schools, establish health clinics and provide job training.
A true handmade piece – and unquestionable work of beauty and art – this ring measures approximately 10mm wide and features a 0.54 total diamond carat weight.
