Futuristic February: 5 Eco-friendly Menswear Must-Haves

* Men’s must-haves for the stylish, eco-conscious consumer
* From Patagonia, United by Blue, and Alternative Apparel
* Eco-apparel that can be worn in the outdoors and the city

Futuristic February is in full swing and we are celebrating by joining the movement created by vegan Instagrammers and the shop owners of Sustainable Duo—who practice zero-waste. The month-long challenge is designed to inspire consumers to shop more conscientiously and document the amount of waste (bags, clothing tags, paper etc.) they accrue and then post a photo of their waste using the hashtag #FuturisticFebruary on the 28th. We wanted to encourage people to participate in the challenge by showcasing eco-friendly clothing brands that are contributing to less waste and more sustainable practices while offering well-designed and functional products for city slickers and outdoorsmen alike.

With widely known brands like Patagonia setting the standard for social responsibility in their production by giving a portion of sales to environmental groups, crafting clothes that last longer as well as be recyclable when you are done, we can see firsthand what this movement can achieve. Then there are smaller companies like Tentree, who plant ten trees around the globe each time one of their items is sold and their use of recycled plastic bottles to create products utilizes single-use materials.

We remind you to shop with mindful brands like these whose efforts aim to reduce waste and whose gear is designed to carry you through each season with ease.
