Carhartt has somewhat unexpectedly become one of the coolest brands of the moment. Their Work in Progress collection contains effortlessly trendy and yet industrious pieces all stylish people should check out for a touch of durability in a world of fast fashion. Plus, their beanies rule.
Now, they’ve branched off into a new product category underneath the fashion umbrella and partnered with Swedish eyewear brand Sun Buddies on a collection perfectly timed for summer 2021. Needless to say, these shades are cool and you should probably rock at least one of them at your post-vaccine get togethers this summer.
The collection reworks the designs of three of Sun Buddies’ unisex frames in six different color choices to make looks that are exclusive to Carhartt WIP. The frames range in their theme, from standard staple to unique experimental look. They also all have optical class 1 lenses and 100% UV protection so they’re functional and will look great paired with your favorite lightweight bomber jacket.
All of the frames from Sun Buddies are made by hand using premium quality metal and other materials built to last. All of the frames contain 100% handmade Italian acetate and most include Carl Zeiss lenses as well. They’ve got a seven bar hinge and contain script print on the temples.
