Calvin Klein’s legendary underwear campaigns have become iconic in American fashion-campaign history. From 1992’s Marky Mark x Kate Moss campaign to the Justin Bieber x Lara Stone spread in 2015, Calvin Klein underwear has never been a brand to shy away from provocative art direction and model casting.

Calvin Klein’s latest underwear campaign comes in video form—adopting a rising trend in fashion advertising today. Sofia Coppola directed and hand-picked each of the seven models, with ages ranging from 18-73, including one of fashion’s biggest icons, Lauren Hutton.

At 73 years old, the model flashes her notorious, gapped-tooth grin wearing an opened polka-dot shirt andexposing a simple white bra underneath. Hutton’s appearance in the campaign, alongside the all-inclusive cast, marks a big shift in model casting for the brand and advertising traditions as a whole. The fashion industry has undergone harsh criticism in recent years for not only using thin models in their ads, but also for its exclusion of models of color and models over the twenty-something mark.

Coppola’s diverse cast seems to indirectly defy these conventions with the variety of ages, skin tones, and body types featured in the black and white video. Other recognizable personalities to star in the short video, include one of Coppola’s go-to’s, Kirsten Dunst, and the actress Rashida Jones. The director selected some newcomers as well, including Maya Thurman-Hawke (daughter of Uma and Ethan) and designer Anna Sui’s niece, Chase Sui Wonders. Hutton’s part comes right at the end—perhaps a strategic directorial decision to underline Hutton’s climatic appearance, just before the campaign’s new slogan—“Calvin Klein or Nothing at All”– is uttered.

But while Hutton’s appearance in the underwear campaign is progressive in terms of advertising standards, this certainly doesn’t mark her first comeback into the industry. In fact, Hutton’s remarkably long-spanning modeling career has been thriving lately. The supermodel recently starred in an editorial for LOVE magazine next to Kendall Jenner, and walked the runway last season for Dries Van Noten and closed Bottega Veneta’s Spring 2017 show alongside Gigi Hadid.
