Fall is upon us! Aka the chilly season that’s perfect for bundling up in cozy layers, sitting by the fire sipping tea and, of course, working out outside now that the blazing hot sun has retreated until next summer. There’s nothing better than a long run or bike ride in the brisk morning air in October; that is if you’ve got the right gear.

Sweaters, sweatshirts and windbreakers will all help you cut the cold, but if they’re not made of the right fabric you can actually end up more uncomfortable than when you started. No one wants to hit mile three, get too hot and sweaty, and then freeze by mile four because your jacket didn’t wick the moisture away in time. Who do we turn to in our times of performance-gear need? lululemon, of course.

Not only does lululemon have top-notch fabrics that serve as the perfect foundation for all of their new athletic and athleisure wear, but the brand also has some great outerwear that’s built for staying warm, dry and comfortable during outdoor workouts as the seasons shift. Even if you’re not an athlete, you don’t want to sleep on lululemon’s jackets.

We’ve picked a few of our favorite pieces from their brand new fall collection that are worth checking out as temperatures drop. For the season’s perfect transitional coat or hoodie, read on.
