Gentlemen, it’s time to rethink how you transport your everyday carry. Backpacks and briefcases are well-suited for the task at hand, sure, but it may very well be time to consider something a bit more stylish, like this Coach 1941 x Baseman Edition Gnarly Face Gotham Tote designed by famed American artist Gary Baseman.

If you’re unfamiliar with Baseman, you may still recognize his work. He’s the creator of the award-winning cartoon series, Teacher’s Pet, as well as the artistic designer of Cranium. Yes, that

.

Since 2015, Baseman has collaborated with Coach on a number of collections, and 2017 is no exception to this ongoing partnership. With Stuart Vevers, the Creative Director at Coach, Baseman once again subverts the norm for something whimsical.

Made from glove-tanned calfskin for a soft and supple feel, the Gnarly Face Gotham Tote features a burnt sienna smiley face graphic on the front, as well as a Baseman x Coach logo on the back. There’s also orange contrast stitching throughout to match Baseman’s graphic treatment and the unlined tanned interior. A zippered interior pocket and additional textile patched pocket offer plenty of compartments for all your things.

Still not convinced you should grab this tote? After it was previewed at the SS17 menswear show last year, Kate Moss picked one up immediately. And if it’s good enough for Kate Moss, you better believe this limited collection item won’t stick around for long.
