* Nordstrom launches capsule T-shirt for pride
* 200+ staffers also expected to take part in NYC Pride March
* Net sales from shirts donated to Human Rights Campaign Foundation
Nordstrom made news this week after announcing that 200 of its staffers would be walking in this weekend’s New York Pride March. Nordstrom, as well as Gap, are among the bronze sponsors of this year’s walk down Fifth Avenue, and has done so since 2015.
In addition to supporting the Pride March, Nordstrom has launched an exclusive Pride T-shirt, available for sale on Nordstrom.com. The short-sleeve black tees are imprinted with emojis that spell out, “Love and Peace to You,” and come in two fits — a slightly longer boxier version and a more fitted, shorter cut.
The Nordstrom Pride T-shirts retail for $24 and net sales will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Nordstrom staffers will be wearing the specially-designed shirts as they march this weekend.

In addition to the exclusive Pride T-shirt, Nordstrom is also selling Pride-themed merch by favorite brands, like Lacoste, Converse and Junk Food. The rainbow-hued shirts range from $25 for Converse’s v-neck tee, to $60 for Lacoste’s colorful take on its iconic crocodile logo.
While Pride events are taking place around the country this month, this weekend’s Pride March in New York is expected to attract more than two million people and will follow the theme, “We Are Proud.”
Nordstrom, meantime, is known as a proud supporter of LGBT rights, with a nondiscrimination policy that includes sexual orientation, and a strong benefits package that includes domestic partner benefits for same-sex couples.
