Made in collaboration with the Peck estate, these shades are inspired by the eyeglasses worn by Peck in the film, and maintain the signature rounded shape with an exaggerated keyhole bridge for a handsome, retro look. Modern touches include advanced lens technology, durable hand-crafted acetate, hand-laid functional plaques that adhere the glass to the frame and sturdy three-barrel hinges, which help maintain the strength and integrity of the sunglasses.
These bespoke sunglasses are handcrafted in Italy out of layers of custom designed acetate, so the unique gradient fades from midnight black to a tortoiseshell pattern, which varies slightly on each individual frame. The mark of distinction is the discreet Oliver Peoples logo that is laminated on the temples.
