* The 89th annual Oscars are a week away
* Natalie Portman, Emma Stone and Michelle Williams all nominated

The Oscars are next weekend, which means all of Hollywood will be out in full force. With the biggest night in celebrity culture bearing down on us, it’s a great time to remember what the Academy Awards are all about: the best films of the year… and some good marketing.
While Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, Michelle Williams and Nicole Kidman are all nominated for their acting work, they also enjoy a number of endorsements that help keep them in the spotlight. Here’s a look at the actresses and the brands they rep, along with our picks for what to buy.
She’s nominated for her role as First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, but you can capture Natalie Portman’s glamour and style with nothing but a point and click when you shop Dior. Portman has been an ambassador for the brand since 2010 and most recently fronted the campaign for their “Rouge Dior” red lipstick.
You can’t make it in La La Land without a pretty face. Revlon cosmetics may not get you nominated for Best Actress in a Leading role, but you’ll still have all the confidence of a winner. Stone – whose wide-eyed beauty made Revlon’s mascara a best seller – joins a host of other actresses who have lent their names to the beauty brand, include fellow Academy Award nominee (and winner), Halle Berry.
The best part of being a critically-acclaimed actress is that designers will be dying to dress you on the red carpet. Luckily for Manchester by the Sea actress Michelle Williams, she’s had the backing of Louis Vuitton for years, having appeared in their campaigns since 2013.
She may be nominated for Best Supporting Actress, but Kidman took center stage last year in a series of commercials for Etihad Airways. With flights to Dubai, Cairo, Seychelles, Istanbul and more than 100 countries across Asia, Etihad is emerging as a leader in the airline industry… now if only we could snag that first-class cabin like Kidman.
