* Reese Witherspoon’s apparel line, Draper James, unveils collection with Net-a-Porter
* 21-piece capsule collection with first drop available now
* Available exclusively on Net-a-Porter.com
Actress Reese Witherspoon’s fashion line, Draper James, has launched a new capsule collection with luxury e-retailer, Net-a-Porter. The first delivery of the 21-piece collection is available online as of today, and the second half will make its debut on June 5.
Draper James is inspired by Witherspoon’s grandparents and the charm of the American South, culminating in a wearable, ultra-feminine line, with references to Southern Belle-style and 1950s apparel.
If you’re a fan of the HBO’s Big Little Lies, you’ll be happy to see that the Draper James x Net-a-Porter collection closely resembles the sartorial essence of Witherspoon’s character on the show, Madeline Martha MacKenzie. The collection features a curated collection of dainty pieces with A-line silhouettes and prints like gingham and soft florals.

While this collection definitely reflects the “charm and grace of the American south,” it certainly doesn’t come off as stuffy, overly maternal, or overdone in any way. In fact, as is expected with Net-a-Porter’s upscale merchandising, this collection maintains the Draper and James signature, but the collection is upgraded to a more modernized, fashion-forward level thanks to the trendier cuts and prints.
The collection is still suitable for all ages, thanks to its universally flattering and versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down. And, with Mother’s Day, graduation and wedding season quickly approaching, this collection offers the perfect variety of appropriate attire to gift — and to attend — for such events.
