Men’s Sweatsuits Have Never Been More Stylish Than They Are Right Now – Shop 15 Styles for Fall 2021

Raise a glass to Émile Camuset — he’s the guy who invented sweatpants back in 1920. Generations of guys owe him lots of drinks for creating comfortable pants that can be worn almost everywhere.

During lockdown, sweatpants and sweatsuits for men became the outfit everyone lived in. The New York Times and The Guardian (among other publications) wrote articles on how men’s sweatsuits, sweatpants and sweatshirt sales skyrocketed, and even saved some business. SPY has also written about the future of athleisure, which is everywhere you look these days.

After emerging back into the world, the last thing a guy wants to leave behind are his newfound appreciation for comfortable sweats. Fortunately, you don’t have to, as sweatsuits are perfectly mainstream casual apparel in 2021. Hands down, the best men’s sweatsuits are the most comfortable items a guy can own. You can sleep in them and work in them. Sweatsuits for men are the perfect creation.

Thankfully, brands and designers understand that men do not want to give up their sweats. The best sweatsuits for men this fall are still comfortable, but the style’s been amped up just a notch. And because they’re now a tad “fancy,” some brands have renamed sweatpants to the trendier sounding “joggers.”  Don’t worry, no matter what the name is, they’re still the same comfy elastic waist fleece pants you’ve always loved.

We found 15 sweatsuits for men in every price point and style, from fast-fashion picks to stylish new releases from Todd Snyder to OG athletic apparel from brands like Adidas and Champion. We’ve even got designer sweatsuits for men, sustainable sweatsuits for men, and everything in between.

Chances are you wore Champion in gym class, and around campus in college. The brand’s been going strong since 1919. They’ve outfitted college and professional sports teams as well as thousands of kids of generations. When you buy something from Champion, there’s a good chance that they’ll last for 10 years or longer…tons of guys are hanging on to their Champion sweatshirts from years ago. They use 10% recycled polyester fibers made from plastic bottles in their fleece items.
