This time, Todd Snyder has teamed up with New Balance to refresh some classic shoes for 2021, and we think you’ll want to take a very close look at this new release. On top of the new kicks and jacket silhouettes, the collaboration also includes a charitable contribution so you can look and feel good about your new summer fit.
The two iconic brands recently joined forces to release a capsule of sneakers and jackets that’ll easily take you from summer to fall. With it, Todd Snyder New York also has plans to donate $10,000 to GrowNYC, which supports New York City’s greenmarkets, helping to ensure that all New Yorkers have access to the freshest, healthiest local food. This certainly makes the collab a total win-win for fans of Todd Snyder, New Balance, and health-conscious eating alike.
Designed with a suede-over-mesh exterior, Todd Snyder X New Balance’s limited-edition 327 sneakers, dubbed the “Farmers Market” edition, takes inspo directly from New York City’s greenmarkets, which promote healthy eating through farm-fresh produce and foods. Per the Todd Snyder website, the 327 Farmers Market sneakers are offered in three colorways: wheat, pineapple, and pomegranate. Each colorway features an icon on the tongue that corresponds to a food group (grains, fruits, and vegetables).
The new NB 327 sneakers are a modern mash-up of 1970s-era New Balance running shoes (specifically, the 320, 355, and Supercomp styles). Enhancing the fun summer vibe is a split color scheme; the colors are literally inverted on the left and right sides of the sneaker. The shoes, which retail for $150, can currently be purchased at www.toddsnyder.com and will be released globally on August 12 at www.newbalance.com.

Describing the Todd Snyder x New Balance release on his website, Snyder said, “We concepted the Farmers Market capsule during lockdown, so the design team and I were reminiscing about (and looking forward to) the experience of walking around a farmers market on a hot summer day.” He added, “We wanted these sneakers and jackets to be a colorful reminder of how special that experience is. I’m grateful that this capsule is coming out at a moment when many of us can return to our local farm stands and favorite restaurants.”
The Todd Snyder x New Balance Farmer’s Market line features bold colors and contrasts. Like in previous collaborations, Snyder is taking classic products from the New Balance archive and updating them for the modern era. The sneakers have an altogether timeless look to them, and we like the unique color combinations and asymmetrical colorways.
