After months of hype and anticipation, the Coach x Selena Gomez collab is finally here.
First announced over the summer, the collection features bags, wristlets, wallets and accessories, all co-designed by Gomez, along with Coach creative director, Stuart Vevers.
The pièce de résistance is the Selena Grace bag, sure to become a new “IT” bag for the current fashion generation. The bag — pictured here in a bold and confident shade of red — is a double-handled carryall named after the singer and “the quality she most embodies,” according to Coach. Personal touches abound, from Gomez’s signature, to a patch inside that says, “To be you is to be strong.” The base of the bag is embossed with the phrase “Love yourself first,” which Gomez has tattooed in Arabic on her back.
“Selena is a rebel and a romantic, a dreamer and a doer who boldly charts her own course. To me, she speaks to a generation; she connects,” said Vevers.
