The Kooples just dropped some highly-anticipated backpacks in collaboration with pop star and style icon Zayn Malik, and we think they’re investment-worthy pieces to go after.
The Kooples is a Paris-based brand known for edgy, slightly punk clothing that’s still very wearable everyday. A collab with Zayn, whose edgy pop-star style earned him the title of GQ’s best dressed back in 2017, just makes perfect sense for The Kooples.
The result is a line of grail-worthy backpacks that fashion lovers and Zayn fans are fiending for. The collection features two different backpack styles: one is a more low-key, school-ready design with red and white accents, while the other (the real show-stopper) showcases a flap-top design and three eye-catching designs.
The latter features black leather accents, with a red leather, black leather, camouflage, or tartan plaid middle. These designs provide a great balance of Zayn’s signature modern punk style, while remaining highly wearable with a variety of outfits.
At $425-$495, these backpacks aren’t cheap, but we think they’re actually well worth the price. Not only are they something you’ll use everyday to top off your outfit and carry your things, but they’re also limited edition pieces from a high-quality brand. They’ll last years (and they’ll only look better after being worn in), and will most likely hold value better than cheaper bags.
