First and foremost, the One is a proper carry-on suitcase. Built using a weather-resistant hard-shell polycarbonate body, it will, more than likely, survive any and all tumbles that typically beset travel luggage. It’s also TSA-approved and the standard size for carry-ons, measuring in at 22” x 14” x 9,” making it compliant with all major airlines.
It’s a tad heavier than a soft-shell carry-on at 9.4 lbs., but the One doesn’t sacrifice any of the exterior pockets just because it’s mostly hard-shell.
