The 90s were a fun time for beauty products and makeup experimentation. From Bonne Bell’s Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers to Sun-In hair bleaching spray, these beauty must-haves definitely hold a nostalgic place in our hearts. Not all products were left in the dust, however. Below we have listed a few throwback beauty products that might be worth a re-visit.

1. Pond’s Cold Cream

2. Hair Claws

Yes, the hair claw clip is making a comeback this year, and if this accessory doesn’t transport you back to the 90s, then we’re not sure what will. As seen at the Spring 2018 Alexander Wang Runway Show, large claw clips were paired with sleek, slick-backed hair and dark black rectangular sunglasses, giving the claw an almost Matrix vibe. Goody has been a longtime maker of these clips and popular hair products in general, and even though they might be in style again, they actually are a great way to help hold your hair in place when you’re washing your face.

  

3. Scrunchies

Scrunchies are another former hair faux pas that might be sneaking their way back into style. Nothing was more popular in the 90s than the colorful, fabric-covered hair wraps. They disappeared for a while as many trends do but, according to WWD, they have reappeared in some unexpected places. Designers like Balenciaga and Mansur Gavriel both used them in their most recent fashion shows and retailer everywhere are introducing silk ones to help you achieve dent-free locks even while you sleep.

Brown lipstick and matching liner was hot in the 90s, with plenty of celebrities rocking the trend, including Jennifer Aniston’s character on Friends. 7. Tommy Girl Perfume

made its debut in 1996 and quickly became the must-have scent for cool girls everywhere. The perfume has fragrance notes of lemon, honeysuckle and lily with a sandalwood base. If you’re going to start pining for some 90s nostalgia fragrances, this one would be a great place to start.
