* Find out what we thought about BeautyRX by Dr. Schultz’s Vitamin C Serum
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that not only protects your skin from free radical damage, but it also helps to combat existing signs of aging, from wrinkles to dullness to hyperpigmentation by promoting skin cell turnover and boosting collagen production.
BeautyRx by Dr. Schultz’s Triple Vitamin C Serum claims to be one of the most potent products of its kind on the market. It boasts a concentration of 10% vitamin C, with an ester-based delivery system that ensures the product is being absorbed to the fullest level possible. According to the company, “100% of the users felt that their skin appeared brighter, softer, smoother, and overall more youthful.” So, I decided to put that claim to the test and try the product out for myself to address my acne scars and texture.
For reference, I have combination/acne-prone skin, but I also am extremely diligent about preventing premature signs of aging and avoiding wrinkles (I’m in my mid-20s but you can never be too early with anti-aging treatments). Over the span of a week, I cleansed face with
, followed by a standard cleanser and then applied two pumps of the Triple C Serum to my whole face and neck.

I was expecting the formula to be clear or to have a yellowish tint, but this serum actually has a lightweight, serumy texture, and it doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind like other Vitamin C serums that I’ve tried.
On day 3 of using the serum, I did noticed that skintone appeared brighter and had a bit more a subtle glow. Throughout the week I noticed that skintone looked a bit less textured and overall more even. After a week, I noticed less dullness overall, and some of the textured areas on my face appeared more even and smooth.
Like any effective skincare treatment, you’d have to use this for at least 4-6 weeks to see noticeable changes in fine lines, dark spots, and acne scars, but I am impressed by the short term results that I noticed.
Compared to other Vitamin C serums I’ve used, the BeautyRX Triple Serum was much less irritating to the skin, which is a huge plus–especially if you’re using retinoid products in your skincare routine. The serum contains 3 different types of vitamin C for maximum effectiveness, and it’s enhanced with moisturizing ingredients like glycerin and hyaluronic acid that hydrate the skin, which probably prevents the redness, peeling, and irritation associated with concentrated Vitamin C serums. While it may be pricey, I’m convinced that this serum actually works and that I’m certain I’ll continue to see results with continued use.
