Moodo is capable of connecting to most WiFi networks. In doing so, it tethers automatically to the Moodo app on your phone. Alternatively, you can connect Moodo to Alexa for simple voice commands.
Through the Moodo app, you can see the 4 fragrances you’ve loaded into the diffuser and select preset mixing suggestions for your chosen fragrances. Alternatively, you can create, name and save your own scent by adjusting the power each of the 4 fragrance pods emits. The volume button also allows you to control the intensity of your chosen fragrance, and the power button gives you the ability to put the device on standby remotely.
One of the best features of Moodo is the “scent shuffle.” If you’ve ever been in a room with a candle burning, you know that eventually you get used to the scent and don’t really experience the positive benefits for very long. With the Moodo scent shuffle, the device automatically shuffles between preset, spa-like fragrances, so your olfactory senses will constantly be pleasantly surprised.
Finally, the Moodo app comes complete with a scheduler and IFTTT compatibility. Therefore, you can schedule your favorite scents to come at specific points during the day. You can also force another action to trigger a scent. For example, you can program the app to turn on a certain scent when you are 20 miles from home for instant stress relief on arrival.
In terms of the technical, each Moodo device comes with 4 complimentary scent capsules. Each capsule lasts for 60 hours of continuous use. To get the most of these scents, you can turn on intermittent mode through the app or adjust the power of the fragrance to less than 50%.
In addition, the Moodo device should remain plugged in at all times, but if you would prefer aromatherapy on the go, you can special order a Moodo with a rechargeable battery.
