For those of you that are unfamiliar, Ruggable provides a line of easy-to-work-with rugs that you can quite literally throw into your washing machine for an effortless clean. Anyone who owns a rug knows that a vacuum can only do so much. That said, taking your rug to the dry cleaners isn’t something we’ve got time for these days. By creating machine washable rugs, Ruggable is changing the home decor game one washable rug at a time, letting you create the cleanest rug-infused space you’ve ever lived in.

This gorgeous drop features a number of unique-to-Haring abstract pieces featuring pop art designs that focus on fluidity, optimism and inclusivity.

Haring was a standout amongst queer artists in New York City throughout the city’s booming art scene in the 1980s. His work is generally very patterned, mostly featuring clumped-together figures in celebratory, uplifting postures. Since his death in 1990, Haring’s legacy as an artist continues to grow. This artsy new home decor pays homage to the queer art scene of 1980s New York City and the AIDS crisis that devastated the LGBTQ+ community at the time.

Amongst the new rugs and doormats in this collection, you’ll notice a number of varying styles ranging from solo shots of Haring’s most iconic figures to group drawings in both muted and saturated colorations. Some of Haring’s signature designs work surprisingly well in this context, and in some of the black-and-white rugs, it’s only after you take a closer look that you see Haring’s influence. They’re ideal inclusions for those who consider themselves fans of Haring’s artwork or for folks simply wanting to liven up their space with a colorful and unique rug that feels a little bit more individualized.
