You’re too old to be chugging beers, but it’s not enough to just lay out a tub of soda and wine for your parties either. Throw a classier party by trying a few easy-to-make cocktails that will leave your guests as pleased as (spiked) punch. We teamed up with Post & Beam — one of LA’s hottest restaurants — for some inspiration. Even easier? Grab these mixers for a fuss-free, low-calorie treat that will satisfy even the cocktail connoisseurs at your party.

Whether you’re headed to the beach or to a pool party (or even just headed outdoors for one of the many Fourth of July parties happening around the country), make sure you’ve got your tan covered — literally. If you want that perfect summer glow, you’ve got to put in the work. We’ve got your 3-step guide on how to prep your skin for a sunless tan. Or, if you’re taking it outside, make sure you’ve picked up proper sunscreen and maybe even a sun-hat for protection. Need some ideas on the best sunscreens to buy? The real action happens next week, when Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters across the country. As for this long weekend, plan to see Steve Carrell and Kristen Wiig in Despicable Me 3. The animated film is getting great reviews from both critics and fans alike. Grab your tickets in advance on Fandango and ensure that you have a dedicated seat ahead of time, saving you the hassle of lining up early or fighting to save — or find — room for you and your friends. (Fandango is also currently offering a bonus deal of 20% off Despicable Me merch online with every ticket purchase).

If you’d rather not brave the crowds and prefer to stay at home, consider celebrating World UFO Day (July 2) with a marathon of the best alien-themed TV shows of all-time. We’ve got a few suggestions that range from an all-time classics to a new hero for the 21st century. Also: we’ve found some new popcorn flavors you should be serving.
