How to Make The Most of Summer Wine Season

* Celebrate summer with a curated box of selected vintage wines
* The Wine of the Month Club is the original monthly wine club
* Each package comes with recipes, cellaring and pairing suggestions

With summer comes new wine options to drink. While drinking a hearty Cabernet Sauvignon is undoubtedly an acceptable choice year-round, warmer weather often brings on opportunities to drink more white wines and roses.  To celebrate the season (and wine), we suggest joining a wine club to keep your taste buds guessing and your expertise growing. Whether you’re a beginner wine drinker or a bonafide connoisseur, joining a wine club will expand your horizons by exposing you to new and well-curated selections each month. Our favorite wine club of the moment is the original Wine of the Month Club.

Paul Kalemkiarian — president of The Wine of The Month Club — personally tastes over 300 different wines a month to ensure the best selection is offered to members. And he is picky when it comes to finding the best of the best: only 15% of the 300 wines tasted make the cut. Growing up, Kalemkiarian’s father owned a wine shop in the 1970s, where he was exposed to the culture of wine wines from a young age. So you can say wine is in his blood.

As a Wine of the Month member, you’ll receive two bottles of vintage wines every 30 days, accompanied by a colorful newsletter containing the history of the wine, complimentary recipes and cellaring suggestions, all from the perspective of a well-experienced wine taster.

Within a couple of months as a member, you’re sure to be well on your way to Kalemkiarian’s connoisseur status too. Monthly subscriptions never exceed the cost of $24 per month for two bottles, and you can choose to receive white or red wines only, or a combination of both, depending on your personal taste. Rest assured, you’ll never pay for a wine you don’t like. If for any reason you don’t enjoy the wine sent, the Club will send you one you do like instead.

If you buy something because we told you about it, we may receive compensation from retail partners.
