Miranda Kerr and Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel Tie the Knot in Memorial Day Weekend Wedding

* Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel were married over the weekend
* The couple became engaged in 2016 after a year of dating
* The intimate ceremony hosted around 40 guests, according to reports

Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel has wed supermodel fiancé, Miranda Kerr. The couple tied the knot at their home in Los Angeles on Saturday. E News! reports that the intimate backyard ceremony began in the early afternoon with around 40 guests total.

The couple met at a Louis Vuitton dinner back in 2014 but were first spotted as a couple in 2015 at a Los Angeles farmers market. Kerr announced their engagement via Snapchat (of course) in July 2016 after one year of dating. Kerr was previously married to Orlando Bloom from 2010-2013 and the two share a six-year old son, Flynn Bloom. This is the first marriage for 26-year old Spiegel.

While the former Victoria’s Secret model is eight years older than her new husband, Kerr says the age gap has never presented an issue. “He’s 25, but he acts like he’s 50. He’s not out partying. He goes to work in Venice [Beach in L.A.]. He comes home. We don’t go out. We’d rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early,” she said in interview in The Edit.

Spiegel is known for his secrecy and staying out of the limelight, and unlike Kerr’s first marriage, the two have kept their relationship under wraps. The wedding was apparently no exception. Reports say that wedding guests were shuttled into the home in blacked out limousines. And while Spiegel is the head over a multi-billion dollar social media platform, photographs and social media posts from the wedding have not yet been released.
