In Honor of Pi Day, Here Are Some Delicious Pies You Can Order Online and Get Delivered ASAP

It’s Pi Day, and quite frankly we don’t need an excuse to eat pie here at SPY but today’s a perfect reason to indulge in a big ol’ slice. 3/14, a.k.a Pi Day (3.14… you get it) is all about celebrating everyone’s favorite mathematical sequence, as well as the witty word play with a delectable baked good that comes around once a year.

Of course you could bake your own pie with a stand mixer and a great bakeware set, or you could just order one online. Some of the best pie makers in the country are available to order from on Goldbelly, and sites like Milk Bar and Harry & David will ship right to you as well.

If you’re craving a really good slice on this particular Monday we don’t blame you. Here are a few great bakeries you can order from in just a few clicks.

Milk Bar

Of course, it wouldn’t be Pi Day without a slice of the famous Milk Bar Pie. Milk Bar, in case you haven’t heard, is the delectable bakery out of New York and Los Angeles known for salty-sweet treats like Birthday Cake Truffles and Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookies. This is the pie that put them on the map with its hearty salty and sweet oaty cookie crust and addictive filling. I’ve had this pie and trust me — it’s as good as people say it is. Milk Bar also delivers nationwide, so what are you waiting for?

Little Pie Company

The Little Pie Company was called the “Best Mail Order Pie in America” by Rachel Ray as well as a “Non Negotiable Thanksgiving Dish” by Sarah Jessica Parker. This Dinner & Deserts 4-pack sampler from them features five-inch pies with both salty and sweet flavors, so you can satisfy everyone, and it was made with Pi Day in mind. The pack includes one three-berry pie, two chicken pot pies and a sour cream walnut apple pie topped with hand-sliced granny smith apples. My mouth is watering typing this.

The Elegant Farmer is anything but, but they definitely deliver in the “delicious pie” department. This Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag is famous nationwide, and now ships on Goldbelly. It’s stuffed with delicious juicy Ida Red apples, and the paper bag bake gives the top a unique crunch and the bottom a light, flakey texture. The crust is sugar-cookie sweet and the apples are fresh and tart. It might just be a perfect pie for Pi Day.
