The last couple of years have not exactly been the best time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, a holiday typically associated with large crowds of people shouting, drinking and generally enjoying themselves. And, of course, Irish whiskey is a key component of most St. Patrick’s Day activities.
This year, people are cautiously optimistic that things are starting to change for the better, but you still might not want to head out to a jam-packed bar to celebrate. Fortunately, three well-known Irish whiskey brands are offering some contests and special packages that will help you to enjoy St. Patrick’s Day from the comfort of your own home.
Check out these three options from Jameson, Tullamore D.E.W., and Roe & Co. and don’t forget to order some of the best whiskey while you’re at it, each has an affordable and high-quality core blend that you’re bound to enjoy.
Jameson St. Patrick’s DayS
Since people have been missing out on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day over the past few years, Jameson decided to make it a two-day affair this year — March 17th and March 18th. To be honest, we’re not complaining.
To take part in the experience, here’s what you do: Sign the #Jameson #StPatricksDayS announcement here before 11:59 pm ET on March 16 for a chance to win two prizes:
1) $20.22 sent via carrier pigeon (aka Venmo) on Thursday, March 17 to be used solely on St. Patrick’s DayS
2) Full breakfast (Irish or not!) to fill you up on Friday, March 18 via UberEats
Jameson is also donating $75,000 to the Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation, and an additional dollar for everyone that signs up, for another potential $25,000. Finally, the brand is providing 10,000 free Uber codes to fans who are out drinking on St. Patrick’s Day and need a safe ride home.
Jameson Irish Whiskey
There’s a variety of Jameson expressions to try, but why not start with the original blend? It’s satisfying and affordable.

Tullamore D.E.W. – The St. Paddy’s Day Patty
This St. Patrick’s Day, whiskey brand Tullamore D.E.W. has partnered with famed NYC meat purveyor Pat LaFrieda to come up with an offer playfully based around how people tend to misspell this Irish holiday (patty vs. paddy, get it?). Starting March 10th, you can visit the LaFrieda website to order a St. Paddy’s Day Patty kit which includes two Tullamore D.E.W. ceramic shot glasses, one beanie, a drink serve card, a Drizly code to order a bottle of Tullamore D.E.W. and 12 8-oz meat patties to cook at home. The meat is said to be “a proprietary blend created by Pat LaFrieda himself and inspired by Tullamore D.E.W.,” according to a press release provided to SPY. Kits cost $84.99, plus shipping.
Tullamore D.E.W. Original
This is the core blend, a combination of malt, grain, and pot still whiskey that’s triple distilled and matured in bourbon, refill, and sherry casks.

Roe & Co. IrishQ Test
Fancy a trip to the Emerald Isle? Dublin distillery Roe & Co. just might be able to get you there. Go to their website to take the IrishQ Test to see how your knowledge of Ireland and its culture stands up. Do so and you may just end up winning a three-day trip to Dublin for two, along with $1,000 to spend and a private tour of the distillery with head distiller Lora Hemy.
This dream trip sounds great, but you’ll have to act fast because the offer ends at 1:59:59 pm ET on March 17. You have until July 15, 2024, to book your travel, and you can accept a cash alternative if you decide not to go … but why wouldn’t you want to visit Ireland?
Roe & Co. Irish Whiskey
Whether you decide to roll the dice on the trip or not, we highly recommend ordering up a bottle of Roe & Co.’s delicious blended whiskey to drink during St. Patrick’s Day.
