Looking to Really Treat Someone This Holiday Season? Here Are the Best Luxury Gifts of 2020

We all deserve to treat ourselves once in a while — in whatever form that may take. For some people it’s a bubble bath. For others, it’s winding down the day with a mystery novel they can’t put down. For some people it’s getting their favorite food and alcohol delivered right to their door, and for others it’s gifting luxury. We all need a little luxury in our lives after the year that 2020 has been, so if you’re in the market for a treat that’s on the pricier side — you’re in luck. I’ve gathered together the best luxury Christmas gifts of 2020 that, while outside the price range of most, are definitely worth buying if you’ve got a pretty penny to spend.

These gifts go beyond your typical present in both price and magnitude — so choose wisely before you drop a boat load of cash. Whether you’re treating yourself or someone else this season — these gifts are worth it. Each of them will satisfy your loved ones who enjoy the finer things in life and appreciate a gift that will last them a long time. Trust me, there’s nothing on this list that isn’t worth the exorbitant price tag — we’ve even got items that are Oprah-approved, and some I can personally vouch for. So, without further ado here are the best luxury Christmas gifts of 2020 that, while pricey, are worth every penny.

1. SAMSUNG 65-Inch QLED The Terrace Outdoor TV

This TV from SAMSUNG was featured in Oprah’s favorite things this year so yeah… you could say it’s worth the gigantic price tag. Gayle is apparently #obsessed so that’s all you need to know. If you’re not sold yet — this TV is designed to look bright and vivid even in daylight outside. It’s extremely weather-resistant and has best-in-class IP55 weather durability. It comes with wide angle viewing and is anti-glare. If you’ve got an outdoor kitchen that could use a screen or want to binge your favorite shows in the pool — you need this TV.

2. The Mirror

You’ve probably heard of The Mirror by now but just in case you haven’t — it’s the next at-home workout gadget trying to cut a Peloton-sized piece out of the fitness pie. It’s a discrete mirror that turns into a screen where you can livestream workout classes and receive real-time feedback from instructors through the screen. The flat mirror design enables you to complete a variety of workouts on one machine, as opposed to a bike or treadmill that are more limited, and when you’re not working out it’s a stylish piece of interior decor. I haven’t personally tried this — but people are pretty obsessed with it. For a world where at-home fitness is the new norm, it’s a great gift.

3. Peloton Bike+

I’ve written about Peloton before and thoroughly established how obsessed I am with it. It’s a great product, and their new bike promises to be everything the original one was and more. I haven’t personally used the new version, but with a screen that rotates and better sound bar being the main changes I can’t imagine what could go wrong. The turning screen enables you to shift from biking to floor exercises like yoga, strength, barre and pilates seamlessly. Each bike is easily adjustable, comes with convenient weights on the back and has 100 levels of resistance to choose between. The bike comes sold on its own for $2,495 and also with increasingly more expensive packages that come with cleats, water bottles, heart rate monitors and more. This very well might be the gift of 2020, so jump on it before it sells out.

4. gita Robot Holiday Bundle

Yes, this is a personal robot… what’s your point? We get it, this gift seems ridiculous but robots are the wave of the future so who knows — whomever you gift this to could be way ahead of the curve in 2021. The gita is a personal robot butler who can carry around your things for you and travel up to 6mph. It’s got cameras and sensors for avoiding obstructions on its path, and can run for up to four hours on a single charge. The gita comes in a few different colors and in a Holiday Bundle that includes a gita IGLOO cooler and an open organizer bin that extend’s gita’s carrying capacity.

5. Andrew Marc Augustine Shearling Collar Leather Jacket

A great leather jacket screams luxury, and this one has a great polished finish to it. The shearling trim up top makes it an acceptable winter coat and the snap-tab cuffs are sophisticated details your tasteful friend will appreciate. The snap tabs at the back waist give it a fit, flattering look that’ll go great with a nice t-shirt and dark pants.

6. Beoplay H95 Adaptive ANC Headphones

If you’re going to buy a pair of exorbitantly expensive headphones — these are the ones to get. They’re made for the “ultimate listening experience” from almost 100 years of Bang & Olufsen’s audio experience they’ve distilled into a pair of headphones. These headphones have advanced Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation on top of their top-notch sound quality. 7. Sous Vide Supreme Touch Plus with WiFi

A sous vide is a luxurious way to cook meat, and this machine takes it to the next level with a steam-free, silent operation you can run in the background in your kitchen to produce the juiciest steak of your life every time. It’s essentially a water oven that’s double-wall insulated to maintain a precise temperature for hours without using more energy than a 20-watt lightbulb. All you do is drop in a sealed pouch of food, press go and walk away — it’s easy. The responsive controls on the device work even when your fingers are wet, and it even connects to an app on your phone you can use to track the progress of your meal. Pretty nifty. Any chefs in your life will love this gift that makes an easy way to cook meat even easier.

8. OOLER Sleep System with Chili Cool Mesh

Hot sleepers — you need this in your life. I have friends who sleep on this every night and say it changes the game when it comes to sleeping. Chili Technology makes cooling pads for your bed that use circulated water at a certain temperature to keep you chilled out all night long. You can set your temperature and change it easily throughout the night via an app on your phone, and they make sizes for all mattress types. The control unit sits underneath your bed filled with water and has an auto clean UV light that keeps everything spick and span inside. There’s variable noise control for light sleepers, and a blue light blocking lens for the small display on the unit so you won’t be disrupted. This purchase is super worth it for couples who struggle with temperature control and those looking to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter without jacking up their energy bills.

9. Rolex Oystersteel Men’s Watch

Rolex is another luxury brand worth highlighting because, well, it’s classic. One of their watches is a great gift for anyone in your life who loves wrist wear and would never spend this much on one piece of jewelry. This one has a blue dial as well as a solid 18K white gold fluted bezel. It has a self-winding automatic chronometer as well as a stainless steel case. The oyster bracelet is polished but sturdy, and the 41 mm case diameter is large enough to make a statement without sticking out too much. The one thing you can count on with Rolex watches? They’ll last a while, and the scratch-resistant crystal will keep it from looking tarnished even after years of use.

10. Common Projects Men’s Calf Suede Chelsea Boot

Chelsea boots are a men’s wardrobe staple, and these tan ones are neutral enough to wear with any outfit but stylish enough to stand out while doing it. They’re made in Italy from fine suede that looks the luxurious part and have a looped backstay to keep them secure. They have a golden foil article stamp on the bottom so you’ll leave a signature footprint with every step, and they’re pull-on style so getting dressed can be quick and polished at the same time. These are a great gift for stylish men in your life who don’t like to look too flashy, and with only a 1″ heel they get a boost but stay comfortable.
