Thank goodness it’s National Donut Day! There’s no better way to kick off the weekend than with free donuts, and as part of this once-a-year celebration of America’s favorite morning treat (and coffee’s favorite companion), more than half a dozen chains across the country are offering special promotions throughout the day.

We’ve rounded up some of the best deals. Supplies are limited though, so donut wait too long.

1. Dunkin’ Donuts

At participating Dunkin’ Donuts, get a free classic doughnut of your choice with the purchase of any beverage all day Friday while supplies last.

2. Krispy Kreme

Get a free donut of your choice at participating locations. Best of all: there’s no purchase necessary to claim your freebie.

3. Duck Donuts

The donut chain is offering free donuts with purchase, plus: save your receipt. You’ll get a coupon for a free half-dozen donuts when you purchase a half-dozen during a future visit.

4. Tim Horton’s

The Canadian staple is now open in select U.S. cities. Buy a coffee and get a donut on the house.

5. Cumberland Farms

Get a free donut with any drink purchase at participating locations. Plus, other giveaways and specials throughout the day.

6. Entenmann’s

Your favorite supermarket brand is giving out free donuts as well as coffee in Times Square in New York City. If you’re not in the Big Apple, Entenmann’s is also holding a contest to win free donuts for an entire year. To enter, pick up a specially marked box of Entenmann’s donuts at your local grocery store and then go on their Facebook page. The company will also donate $1 to Feeding America for every entry.
