From Vodka To Beard Trimmers, These Are The Items Celebs Are Taking Home In The 2022 Grammy Gift Bag

It doesn’t get much more exciting for a musician than being invited to the Grammy Awards. For those presenters and performers set to attend this year’s event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, not only will they get to be part of the year’s biggest night in music, but they’ll also get to take home some incredible swag care of the Grammy Gift Bag.

Topgolf Las Vegas has sponsored this year’s Grammy Gift Lounge, and it will feature a massive selection of gifts for talent to check out in person while also receiving a pre-assembled gift bag packed with goodies. Some items included are food items from Manda Wellness Superfood and NutriFit, Dr. Fauci and Dr. Shefali books, jewelry from Courtney Racquel Jewelry and Grosse Japan, and hair and skin products from For Every Type, Love Sun Body, Odele and more.

Gift guru and Distinctive Assets founder Lash Fary has been helping the Grammys find the newest, coolest, most exciting products, experiences and companies to partner with for over 20 years. SPY spoke to Fary ahead of Sunday’s award show to get the lowdown on this year’s goodies, which feature everything from a $9 stain remover by Jayde Essentials to $10,000 worth of cosmetic treatments from Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich.

Amassing a wide range of products that will appeal to the Grammy’s huge talent base can be difficult, and Fary looks to both large and small businesses for inspiration. “Big businesses are always looking for how to differentiate themselves further,” said Fary, who noted that companies must hit specific diversity and inclusivity thresholds to be included, regardless of size.

“[Being included in the Grammy Gift Bag] is particularly valuable for smaller businesses,” said Fary, giving US newcomers Skinny SBU as an example. The sock company is popular in Africa but has yet to expand globally. That changed this year thanks to their inclusion in the Grammy Gift Bag. “The amount of press they are getting globally is huge,” said Lash, who noted that Skinny SBU was able to get a sponsor to underwrite their global expansion thanks to their inclusion in the Grammy Gift Bag. “A lot of that is up to the brand to capitalize and leverage their press.”

The Grammy Gift Bag has something for everyone, especially artists willing to share their goodies. “Some of the things the guys like the most in the gift lounge is what they can take home to their wives,” said Fary, who remembers a previous Grammy Gift Lounge that saw a delighted country duo in attendance. “Dan and Shay came through a few years ago and were ecstatic,” said Fary, adding that the Grammy winners were happy to bring home items that would ‘score brownie points with their wives.’
